  • 1 cup cold coffee
  • 0.75 cup chilled low-fat milk
  • 2.5 Tbsp sugar (granulated)
  • 3 cups fat-free vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Tbsp chocolate syrup (+1 Tbsp for serving)
  • Whip Cream (optional)

Instructions

  • First, pour the cold coffee and milk into the blender. Also, add the sugar and blend for 10-20 seconds.
  • Then, add the vanilla ice cream and the chocolate syrup. Blend again on high till the shake is perfectly mixed and frothy.
  • Finally, pour into glasses and serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top.
  • (Optional) Add some whipped cream on top for extra creamy sweetener.

Notes

  • For the homemade chocolate syrup- Heat a cup of water in a pan and mix half a cup of sugar. Once the sugar is nicely mixed, add 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Stir and cook over medium-low heat for 6-7 minutes. Cool completely before using it.
  • Those who prefer a chocolaty shake can use swap the vanilla ice cream with a chocolate-flavored one.
