Ingredients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teabag
  • 3 sprig mint
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 slice lemon
  • ice, to serve

Instructions

  1. Place a small saucepan on high heat and add the water. Bring the water to a boil then remove the saucepan from the heat.
  2. Into the saucepan add the tea bag, mint, and sugar.
  3. Stir to combine then allow to steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Pour the tea into a pitcher and refrigerate until cooled.
  5. Remove the pitcher from the fridge and mix in the pineapple juice and ground cinnamon.
  6. Into a tall glass add ice and pour over the plantation iced tea, garnish with a lemon slice and serve.
