  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves

Instructions

  1. Place the almonds into a mixing bowl and cover with water, allow the almonds to soak for at least 4 hours up to overnight.
  2. Once soaked, place the almonds in a blender with 1 ½ cups water.
  3. Blend on high for 2 minutes until smooth then pour the almond milk through a sieve to remove any solids, set the almond milk aside.
  4. Place a saucepan on medium heat and add the water.
  5. Bring the water to a simmer then add the cinnamon and black tea leaves.
  6. Simmer the tea for 2 minutes then strain to remove the cinnamon and tea leaves.
  7. Serve the tea hot and combine with homemade almond milk.
