Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place a small saucepan on medium heat and pour in the water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and add the bay leaves.
  3. Reduce the water to a simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan of bay leaf tea from the heat and allow to infuse for a further 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the bay leaves out of the tea then add milk and honey for extra sweetness.
