Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 fresh rosemary sprigs (or 2 teaspoons of dried rosemary leaves)
  • 2.5 cups of filtered water
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 lemon wedge

Instructions

  • Pour the filtered water into a pot or electric kettle and bring it to a boil.
  • Now, pour the boiling water into 2 cups. Immerse 1 rosemary sprig in each cup and leave it for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes of steeping time is up, remove the rosemary sprigs. Stir a teaspoon of honey and squeeze a few drops of lemon into each cup.

Enjoy your warm rosemary tea right away!

Notes

  • For a strong rosemary-flavored tea, you can leave the rosemary sprig in boiling water for 6-7 minutes. But, avoid leaving it for too long as it will result in a bitter taste.
  • Adding some honey or agave syrup is essential as it helps balance out the tart effect of rosemary.
