Ingredients
- 1 cup water, hot
- 1 green tea bag
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 slice ginger root
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Place a saucepan on high heat and add the water, bring the water to a boil.
- Then add the cinnamon stick and sliced ginger root to the saucepan, reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the stove and add the green tea bag, allow the liquid to cool and tea to steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea through a sieve into a glass, stir in the lemon juice.
- Serve the fat burning tea hot or chilled as an iced tea either in the morning or before sleep.
