  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tea bag
  • 1/3 cup sugar


  1. Pour the water into a small saucepan and place on high heat. 
  2. Once boiling removes the saucepan from the heat and add the tea bags and caster sugar. 
  3. Stir to dissolve the sugar then allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  5. Store the sweet tea in the refrigerator or pour over ice and enjoy.
