Ingredients

- 2 Tablespoons cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 2.5 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 0.5 cup whipping cream
- A pinch of Himalayan pink salt (or sea salt)
- 1 cup of freshly brewed matcha green tea (or any green tea)
- 0.25 teaspoon matcha green tea powder (for serving)
Instructions
- First of all, transfer the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and let it sit on the kitchen top until it softens at room temperature.
- Then, add the sweetened condensed milk. Whisk until creamy using an electric hand mixer.
- In another mixing bowl, put the whipping cream! Beat it till thick with visible soft peaks.
- Now, add the cream cheese & condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream. Whisk again till nicely combined.
- Next, add the pink salt and mix again.
- Finally, fill half of each cup with the hot brewed matcha green tea. Gently layer the fluffy cream cheese mix on top, and sprinkle some match green tea powder on top.
Your warm cup of cheese tea is ready! If you prefer chilled tea, just add some ice cubes, and enjoy it!
Notes
- If you have extra cream cheese & whipping cream mixture, you can store it in the fridge for 2-3 days. Just remember to whisk it before serving to get the airy texture back.
- Coffee loves can relish some black coffee topped with the cream cheese mix and some cacao powder sprinkle.
