Ingredients
- ½ cup licorice root, chopped
- ½ cup peppermint leaves
- ¼ cup basil leaves
- 1 tsp fennel seed
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a bowl combine the licorice root, peppermint leaves, basil leaves and fennel seeds, stir together to mix evenly.
- Place a saucepan on the stove at high heat and add the water.
- Bring the water to a boil and pour in the mixed herbs, remove the saucepan from the stove.
- Steep the tea for 5 minutes then strain into a glass and serve the Aveda tea hot.
