  • 1 chamomile tea bags
  • ½ tsp fennel seed
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 slice ginger root
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 cup water


  1. Place a saucepan on medium heat and add the water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil then add the chamomile tea bags, fennel seed, cinnamon powder, ginger root and coconut sugar.
  3. Stir to dissolve the ingredients then remove the saucepan from the heat.
  4. Allow the gripe water to cool at room temperature.
  5. Strain the gripe water into an airtight container.
  6. Feed a baby one tablespoon of gripe water before feeding to soothe and calm gas or colic.
