Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp black tea leaf
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
- ice cubes, to serve
Instructions
- Pour the water into a small saucepan and place on a high heat.
- Bring the water to a boil then remove from the heat.
- Into the saucepan of water add the black tea leaves and sugar, stir to combine.
- Allow the tea to infuse for 5 minutes then strain into a glass.
- Pour the lemon juice into the glass and stir, adjust to your preferred acidity.
- Serve the lemon iced tea with extra slices of lemon and ice cubes.
